DC Alliance at Putt4dough 2022!

The ICT community once again teed off to raise funds for the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, on the 22nd of November. The team at DC Alliance attended the 13th annual Perth ICT Charity Golf Day, Putt4dough, at the picturesque Joondalup Resort.

As part of DCA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, DCAres, DCA sponsored both Hole-in-One competitions. This year we doubled the annual Hole-in-One stakes, with not one but two chances to win $50,000 at both of the DCA Holes!

We had our returning ACE team, Gavin Parker, Ben Chan (Vizstone), Stan Peovitis (HPE), and Daryl Patch (TPG Telecom), as well as our new DCA team with Chairman Roy Wong, Ni Zeng, Urusha Shrestha and Jeff Park (Seagate). The ACE team this year took home second place, with the score of 57.

The day ended with a formal dinner shared by the sponsors and players of the day where AFL legend Karl Langdon hosted a panel discussion with fellow former West Coast Eagles player Brad Sheppard and current player Tom Barrass.

At DCA we are extremely proud to have joined the ICT community in sponsoring the event for the past four years. It’s a great opportunity to network with industry friends on the fairway whilst raising money for a great cause.

Along with Hole-in-One competitions, the DCA staff also set up the ‘DCA Lucky Dip’ competition and the ‘Pop-the-Pirate’ competition. Some of the ‘DCA Lucky Dip’ winners were lucky enough to win a four-pack of our ‘Edge-to-the-Cloud’ Lager from Campus Brewing, showcasing another one of our CSR initiatives, ‘Hazy for Hazel’.
